Hello since I installed the PMDG 737-800 I can't use it because of a serious problem with the rudder. On the ground it does not work in any way. The pedals move but the rudder is immobile. I have set in FMC correctly to "only rudder" but unfortunately I cannot get it to work.

Apr 19, 2020 · the sensitivity just reduces the reaction speed with less slider so the controls will take longer to get to your joystick/yoke position. You definitely don‘t want that. Nullzones eliminate spikes and help with controllers that have a low resolution. This one you‘ll have to try out.

By default, the CRS setting on the left hand Bravo knob will change both Course 1 and Course 2 knobs in the aircraft. If you do not want this functionality then remove the two "PMDG_737-COURSE_SYNC" script assignments after applying the template by selecting each box, then clicking the red minus sign at the bottom right of the window.

May 16, 2022 ¡ flyinion. Wondering what other Alpha users have found to be a good sensitivity setting for the pitch and roll axis on the Alpha for the PMDG 737? Typically I usually haven't modified it since most aircraft seem fine due to the Alpha's range of travel, but the PMDG 737 seems a bit sensitive similar to how FBW now recommends -30 on the pitch axis.

May 7, 2022 · Thanks a lot. My concern was the throttle in the 737. In P3D and FSX and earlier we needed FSUIPC to have reverse thrust work correctly. I hope, that PMDG 737s have an option to calibrate the throttle in such a way, that reverse thrust will work with the Thrustmaster Hotas without the need of 3rd party add-ons, i.e. FSUIPC7. For instance, depending on your P3D configuration settings adjusting the 'sensitivity' can do things like: Make the control response non-linear (so a large movement will have very little effect until you pass a certain point at which point the controls will suddenly become very sensitive indeed)The other new setting "reactivity" is self explanatory. People are a bit confused as to what the difference is between reactivity and sensitivity. Perhaps they just assume all you need is max reverse in the 737 while you need to modulate it quite carefully in the DC6 else risk damaging the engines.

I can’t really gauge it, and linear seems way too sensitive. Thanks! Extremity dead zone is the most important setting. If this feels not very responsive, change to 50 or 35, dont touch senitivity. I am using -35% on roll sensitivity and -40% on pitch sensitivity. IMO that makes it feel somewhat correct compared to the real thing but, could probably go down to 30 on the roll. Still experimenting. I will say this, the pitch axis on the HC Alpha is very “stiff” so that complicates it a bit.
